Your Role:

At Siegfried we are currently looking for a Global Vendor Manager IT to join our team in our site based in Barberà del Vallès.

The position holder independently will manage strategic supplier related processes for Siegfried AG and all its affiliated subsidiaries across all locations. He or she will analyze the IT vendor related spend independently, will propose projects to optimize IT vendor spend and will manage approved projects to optimize portfolio of strategic suppliers along the individual lifecycle of strategic partnerships.

He or she will have the right to make proposals and veto decisions regarding the establishment of strategic suppliers for IT.

Main responsibilities:

The job holder will be responsible to manage strategic IT vendor portfolio from an IT perspective, in close alignment with IT strategy and under the commercial governance of Indirect Procurement / Global Category Management. The responsibilities include in particular:

Create a clear set of documented IT-specific objectives around vendor risk, relationship and performance management, while ensuring commercial objectives, contractual terms and negotiation strategies are defined and governed by Procurement.

Support implementation of IT vendor strategy including growth of supplier base in Spain and Eastern Europe.

Establish policies and processes for IT vendor management including establishment of vendor risk management, vendor performance management and vendor development.

Establish contract management for strategic suppliers including enforcement of standard contract frameworks, service level agreement, performance management (monitoring, review and improvement) during lifecycle of a contract. While commercial terms, remain under the ownership of Indirect Procurement.

Responsibility for building, maintaining and enhancing solid relationships with business stakeholders (e.g. IT departments, indirect procurement, system owners, project organization).

Manage RfP processes for strategic IT projects in alignment with all stakeholders and communicate with stakeholders and potential suppliers.

Establish and monitor metrics and KPI for supplier management, innovation and performance management.

Establish Scorecards for strategic vendors in alignment with procurement.

Conduct vendor relationship health checks for those critical vendors to measure:

whether the relationship meets the organization’s original deal objectives

how well the contract terms and objectives align with current and changing business requirements.

Implement robust processes/workflows to proactively identify, assess and prioritize vendor risk.

Establish vendor lifecycle management, including onboarding, transitioning and exiting.

Your Profile:

What are we looking for?

• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role as a Global IT Vendor Manager with an international scope.
• Advanced level of English (German or Spanish are a plus)
• Willingness to travel (usually once per quarter, but occasionally on short notice)
