Steel Saw Operator/Welder

We are currently seeking applicants to fill a position as a steel saw operator. This position is long term and full time.

Applicants must be self-motivated, have integrity, professionalism, excellent time-management skills and they must have the ability to problem solve independently.

Applicants should have a basic knowledge of a band saw, basic knowledge and experience with hand tools, comfortable on a forklift, must be able to read measurements.

We are a small family business. We have been manufacturing, selling, installing and servicing commercial recycling equipment for nearly 20 years.

Competitive pay will be based on experience.

Saw Operator Requirements:

• Operating a band saw to cut materials
• Operating a Forklift
• Pulling smaller bar stock materials by hand
• Material handling
• Working with a wide variety of steel stock including bar, round, flat, angles, and channel
• Some MIG welding

Saw Operator Qualifications:

• Excellent measuring skills
• Basic math skills
• Able to lift up to 75lbs as needed
• Some MIG welding experience
• Safety conscious
• Willingness to cross train
• Team player
• Blueprint reading is a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18\.00 - $21\.00 per hour
