Job Summary:
Palmdale currently operates in more than 50 counties across Florida and provides a wide range of tailored commercial fuel and lubricant solutions to customers in the agricultural, industrial, construction, marine, and government sectors. Operating out of 20 locations statewide, the company is a leader in the industry in the procurement and sale of gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, propane, commercial and industrial lubricants, and chemicals that are used across a diverse set of end markets.
Palmdale Oil Company is seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to support users across multiple office locations throughout Central and Southwest Florida, including Orlando, Lakeland, Tampa, and Fort Myers. This position will be located at our Lakeland office, and focuses on delivering day-to-day technical support, maintaining hardware and IT infrastructure, and supporting our Microsoft-based environment. Occasional onsite visits will be required for hardware replacements, new equipment deployments, and more complex troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, traveling between locations as needed, and troubleshooting a variety of systems including Windows workstations, Microsoft 365 applications, and office network equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to employees across multiple office locations
- Troubleshoot and maintain Windows-based desktops and laptops
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, including: Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Office applications
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including workstations, peripherals, and printers
- Assist with user account management and troubleshooting within Office 365
- Support and troubleshoot network-connected devices, including NVR camera systems
- Perform hardware deployments, upgrades, and replacements
- Document solutions and maintain internal IT knowledge base
- Coordinate with vendors or managed service providers when necessary
- Travel to company offices as needed to provide onsite support
Required Qualifications:
The required skills for this position are:
- 2\+ years of experience in IT support or help desk environments
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Office apps)
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and peripheral issues
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and support requests
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between office locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with VoIP systems
- Experience supporting network video recorder (NVR) systems or security cameras
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts
- Experience working in a multi-location business environment
