About the Opportunity

MRA is assisting one of its valued members in recruiting for a confidential Procurement Manager position. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization in a hands-on leadership role with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Position Overview

The Procurement Manager will oversee day-to-day purchasing operations while actively contributing as an individual contributor. This is a hands-on role responsible for sourcing, supplier management, and internal coordination across departments

The position includes a direct report and requires a leader who can provide clear direction, foster collaboration, and drive efficiency across the procurement function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and sourcing strategies
  • Provide guidance and direction to one direct report
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on materials, timelines, and priorities
  • Lead entity-to-entity collaboration, ensuring seamless communication across business units and partners
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with vendors
  • Monitor inventory levels, supply chain risks, and market conditions
  • Identify cost savings opportunities while maintaining quality and delivery standards
  • Maintain strong communication across operations, engineering, and leadership teams

Qualifications

  • 5\+ years of procurement or supply chain experience
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or cabling environments required
  • Proven ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills with experience providing direction to team members
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience collaborating across multiple entities, departments, or business units
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills
