About the Role
The Onboarding / Client Success Manager is the single owner of the client experience at ShipNomad. You'll lead every new client from signed contract through go-live, then continue as their primary day-to-day relationship manager as they grow with us. You'll also partner directly with leadership on contract reviews and redlines during the onboarding process.
This is a foundational role with a clear growth path to Director of Client Operations. The right person will own the client journey end-to-end, build the systems and playbooks that define how ShipNomad operates, and step into a leadership track as we scale.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end client onboarding, from signed MSA to first shipment
- Lead kickoff calls, build onboarding timelines, and manage client-facing project plans
- Coordinate cross-functional handoffs between Sales, Fulfillment, and Systems
- Oversee integration setup (Shopify, Amazon, WMS connections, EDI)
- Lead contract reviews and redlines on MSAs, SLAs, SOWs, and Exhibit A pricing alongside leadership
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for your book of business
- Conduct monthly or quarterly business reviews with key accounts
- Build and continuously improve the ShipNomad onboarding playbook, SOPs, and client-facing templates
- Drive retention, satisfaction, and expansion across your portfolio
What You Bring
Required:
- 2\+ years in client success, account management, implementation, onboarding, or operations — ideally at a 3PL, SaaS, logistics tech, or e-commerce company
- Experience reviewing and redlining commercial contracts (MSAs, SOWs, SLAs)
- Proven ability to run multiple onboardings in parallel without dropping balls
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail, especially around pricing, SKUs, integrations, and billing
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Excel, and modern project management tools
- An ownership mentality
Preferred:
- Direct 3PL, fulfillment, or supply chain experience
- Familiarity with WMS platforms (ShipHero, Logiwa) and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon)
- Experience building onboarding processes from the ground up
- Working knowledge of parcel carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL eCommerce)
- Experience with EDI or API integrations
