Chief Technology Officer

A rapidly growing electric vehicle infrastructure company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead technology strategy and platform scale during a critical phase of expansion.

The company operates a large network of connected charging assets across North America and is accelerating growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. The CTO will play a central role in building a scalable technology platform capable of supporting rapid network growth, integrating acquired technologies, and delivering industry-leading reliability.

This role reports directly to the CEO and will lead all engineering, platform architecture, and infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s long-term technology and platform architecture strategy
• Scale a high-availability platform supporting a rapidly growing network of connected EV charging infrastructure
• Lead engineering across software, firmware, hardware integration, and cloud infrastructure
• Ensure platform reliability, network uptime, and operational performance at scale
• Build the technical framework to support network growth through acquisitions and technology integrations
• Establish strong engineering leadership, development processes, and platform governance
• Partner with executive leadership on product strategy, technology investments, and long-term infrastructure planning

Qualifications

• 15\+ years of engineering and technology leadership experience
• Proven success scaling connected infrastructure, IoT, or energy platforms
• Deep experience with cloud architecture, distributed systems, and device fleet management
• Experience integrating technology platforms through M\&A or system consolidation
• Ability to lead engineering organizations in high-growth environments
• Ideal candidates may come from leadership roles within EV charging, energy infrastructure, mobility platforms, or large-scale connected device ecosystems.
