Job Details
Electrical Technician – 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
We’re hiring an experienced Electrical Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair electrical issues on presses, ovens, motors, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment upgrades.
Build and wire control panels.
Install and troubleshoot VFDs, motion drives, and high/low‑voltage circuits.
Conduct PLC I/O checks; upload/download PLC/HMI programs for troubleshooting.
Support installation and testing of new equipment.
Maintain accurate repair and maintenance logs.
What You Need
High school diploma or GED
5\+ years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting
Strong PLC and HMI knowledge
Panel building and wiring experience
Solid understanding of electrical safety
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Preferred Skills
Experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs (PLC‑5, SLC, Micrologix, ControlLogix, CompactLogix)
Strong AC/DC motor drive knowledge
Journeyman license or equivalent
