Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an English Teacher at BETHLEHEM HIGH SCHOOL, located in Bardstown, KY. The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons aligned with the curriculum. Key tasks include fostering students' reading, writing, and critical thinking skills, evaluating student progress, and maintaining classroom discipline. Collaboration with fellow faculty members to develop teaching strategies and contributing to the academic community are integral parts of this position.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English Teaching and Lesson Planning
• Experience in Education and Teaching methodologies
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field
• State teaching certification or the ability to obtain one (required)
• Experience with integrating technology into the classroom is a plus
