Job Description: Kids’ S.P.A.C.E. of Rye is looking for a mature, dependable and energetic person who genuinely enjoys working with elementary-age children to join our established after-school program. This is a great opportunity for an experienced childcare professional, retired educator, former teaching assistant, or someone looking for meaningful and consistent part-time work during the school year. Our ideal candidate is warm, responsible and reliable, and enjoys being actively involved with children. Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with children during indoor and outdoor play, helping with activities, and working as part of a supportive team. Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:00–6:00 PM, Schedule: 3–5 afternoons per week. Qualifications: Experience working with school-age children preferred, Dependable and punctual, Comfortable supervising groups of children, Positive, patient and actively engaged, High school diploma or equivalent required.
