  • Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Technical Operations, and R\&D to ensure continuity of supply for GxP-regulated raw materials and production inputs
  • Own supplier relationships for key categories, ensuring reliability, quality compliance, and cost competitiveness
  • Negotiate complex agreements, including long-term supply, quality, and service agreements, in collaboration with Legal
  • Identify and deliver cost savings, working capital improvements, and risk mitigation initiatives, particularly related to material supply constraints and global sourcing volatility
  • Support make vs. buy decisions, capacity planning, and supply risk strategies tied to advanced therapies and biologics production
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive fact-based decision making across procurement initiatives
  • Contribute to the evolution of a best-in-class global procurement organization within a highly regulated life sciences environment

Required Experience \& Qualifications

  • 8\+ years of progressive procurement experience, with demonstrated growth in scope and leadership
  • Direct experience sourcing raw materials within pharma, biopharma, biologics, or advanced therapies manufacturing environments (strongly required)
  • Proven expertise managing critical materials such as APIs, excipients, cell culture media, single-use systems, or GMP manufacturing inputs
  • Strong understanding of GxP regulations, quality requirements, and supplier qualification processes
  • Experience in supplier risk management, supply continuity planning, and global sourcing strategies within regulated industries
  • Ability to lead complex negotiations and manage high-value supplier relationships
  • Experience working with ERP and sourcing platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Zycus, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in technical and scientific environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting advanced therapies (cell \& gene therapy), biologics, or sterile manufacturing
  • Prior leadership or people management experience
  • Exposure to CMO/CDMO outsourcing models and external manufacturing networks
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging procurement data and market intelligence
