Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking an Art Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is split between South and Terrace Elementary Schools.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university. 2\.Current valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement. 3\. Experience as an elementary school teacher is preferred. 4\. ESL endorsement is preferred.

District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.

Compensation Information

• This position is part of the Des Plaines Education Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement. This position includes paid sick and personal time.
