  • Build reusable components and maintain application architecture as the product grows.
  • Review code and contribute to engineering standards.
  • Investigate crashes, bugs, and performance issues.
  • Monitor application performance and use production data and user feedback to prioritise improvements.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, technical discussions, and retrospectives.
  • Support other engineers through code reviews and technical discussions.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience mentoring other engineers or leading technical projects.

What a typical week may include

You might spend your time:

  • Building and testing features planned for the current sprint.
  • Working with designers and product managers on upcoming functionality.
  • Reviewing pull requests and discussing implementation decisions with other engineers.
  • Investigating crashes, performance regressions, or production bugs.
  • Monitoring application analytics and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Refactoring components where application complexity or maintenance cost has increased.
  • Supporting other engineers through pairing, reviews, or technical discussions.

How we work

Engineers work with product, design, and backend teams from early requirements through production release.

Technical decisions are discussed with the people affected by them, while engineers are expected to own their implementation and follow-up work.

We use code reviews, production monitoring, and user feedback to decide what to improve next.
