We are seeking a highly capable

Operations Manager

to join our Lower North Island team. This role combines operational leadership, commercial oversight, and client management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Role Purpose

The

Operations Manager

will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Passive Fire, Intumescent Coatings, and Protective Coatings projects across commercial and industrial construction environments.

The role will provide leadership to site teams while supporting commercial performance, resource planning, quality assurance, client relationships, and business growth opportunities.

Required Skills \& Experience

We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds including but not limited to:

·        Site management or supervisory roles within the construction sector

·        Passive fire protection

·        Protective coatings and industrial coatings

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven leadership and people management experience

• Strong organisational and planning skills

• Commercial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting, variations, and cost control

• Experience coordinating subcontractors, site teams, and client stakeholders

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills

• The ability to balance operational delivery with commercial outcomes

• Experience pricing, estimating, tendering, or supporting project procurement processes would be an advantage

• Proficiency in systems such as Aconex, Procore, CONQA, Workbench, or similar platforms
