Operations \& Planning Manager (Big Box Retail) \| FULLY REMOTE \| $115,000-$130,000 base range

My client is a rapidly growing wellness beverages brand that sells product in regional and national retailers throughout the US. The Retail Operations \& Planning Manager will take ownership of retail demand planning, inventory strategy, and execution across key accounts. This individual will work cross-functionally and externally to align forecasts, improve replenishment processes, and drive strong retail performance.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
  • 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, supply chain, or demand planning
  • Strong understanding of CPG operations and retail dynamics
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across teams
  • Prior experience working with large national retailers is required

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Planning \& Forecast Alignment

  • Partner with retail accounts to build and maintain accurate demand forecasts
  • Align on promotional calendars, seasonal spikes, and assortment changes
  • Continuously refine projections based on performance trends and market inputs

Inventory Strategy \& Replenishment

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal in-stock positions across retail locations
  • Analyze sales velocity and promotional impact to inform replenishment decisions
  • Support and improve collaborative forecasting and replenishment workflows

In-Store Performance \& Execution

  • Monitor store-level performance and proactively address availability issues
  • Coordinate with third-party partners and internal teams to support retail execution
  • Identify opportunities to improve on-shelf presence and overall performance

Analytics \& Business Insights

  • Evaluate sales, inventory, and promotional effectiveness across accounts
  • Track and report on key performance metrics
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations to drive growth

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as a key point of contact for retail operations and planning initiatives
  • Collaborate with marketing on product launches and campaign execution
  • Work closely with supply chain partners to ensure smooth operational flow
