Job Summary:
Planning Design Studio is seeking an Entry-Level Landscape Architect/Designer or Registered Landscape Architect to join our firm. We are a St. Louis-based design practice focused on improving the communities we work in by creating world-class outdoor places. Our studio space, specifically designed by us, is in Maplewood, Missouri, a historic suburb of St. Louis, which is home to the nation’s first Green Dining District, and vibrant independent shops that create an exciting and livable
community.
Job Requirements:
We need people with a well-rounded grasp of the fundamentals of landscape architecture and a strong desire to be involved in projects that move from idea to reality. Technical knowledge and excellent organizational skills are important, as well as being a collaborator and someone who really loves working in teams. This position is for full-time employment (40 hours per week).
Entry-Level Landscape Architect/Designer
applicants should be recent graduates with a degree from an accredited landscape architecture program. For this position, we are looking for the following skills, knowledge, and qualifications:
- Strong analytical, planning, design, and technical skills
- Experience with and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), and SketchUp
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative-taker who enjoys a fast-paced work environment that can contribute to achieving successful project completion
