Our dedicated team is engaged in the development, manufacture, and marketing of a unique, patient centric, surgical treatment for knee osteoarthritis (the MISHA Knee System), the first of its kind implantable shock absorber(ISA) for patients with medial knee osteoarthritis (OA).

We are currently seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing to join our growing organization.
YOUR PURPOSE
The Director of Marketing will lead the strategic direction and execution of marketing strategies to support the Company’s corporate strategies for Moximed, Inc. This is a critical leadership role as it involves overseeing the marketing strategy, planning and execution of the MISHA Knee system, a first of its kind ISA for patients with mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee. The Director will not only be expected to develop product marketing, promotional and utilization programs to drive product revenue generation for the company but must also enjoy spending time in the marketplace and establishing an understanding of all facets of Moximed customer needs. The Director will translate this know-how into actionable strategies for the company.
In addition, the Director is expected to work closely with sales leadership and field sales teams to implement marketing/commercial programs to deliver first in class results. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions in order to gain new accounts and user scalability.

This position requires an interface with all functional areas including Sales, Therapy Development \& Physician Experience, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research, R\&D, Reimbursement, Finance and People Operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Owns all levels of marketing strategy, planning and execution to achieve business objectives
- Develop go-to-market strategy for product launches, including targeting and positioning, pricing, product differentiation, and sales enablement tools
- Responsible for the product branding strategy and messaging architecture
- Act as internal and external champion of the product. This includes being the single point of expertise for information on the product, target market and product competitors
- Partner closely with sales leaders and sales reps to execute marketing initiatives in order to deliver commercial results
- Build marketing assets and tools needed to support sales team
- Develop digital, social media strategy \& execution for reaching the HCP audience
- Formulate new downstream promotional strategies to drive and accelerate growth
- Collaborate with upstream marketing, training and education, and clinical research counterparts to translate activities into marketplace success Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to generate and nurture new leads
- Leverage market research, sales and customer feedback to guide improvements in marketing plan and execution
- Identify companies with adjacent, complementary, or competitive technologies
- Support communication projects in the areas of advertising and promotional programs, scientific meetings, and tradeshows
- Manage Web Presence
- Develop product brand awareness, including social media campaigns
- Proactive communication with senior management on the product, its performance and any major issues or changes in the market or competition
- Support company reimbursement efforts
- Surgical case support as needed
WHAT WE REQUIRE
Education and Training
Bachelors Degree in business, marketing or related field, plus 8-10 years’ experience in the medical device industry with progressive responsibilities.
Technical Requirements
- Ability to plan, organize, monitor and execute a project
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales to execute marketing programs
- Experience working in high functioning cross-functional teams
- Data analytics skills
- Financial and budget management
- Must have a good understanding of the medical environment to effectively respond to market concerns and provide technical support for products
- Able to convert product/customer feedback into valuable insights that can help drive the development of new marketing programs
- Ability to competently represent the Company at professional functions and customer meetings
- Experienced in supporting post-market clinical trials
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a “start-up” environment
- Proven ability to determine product positioning and key promotional elements for the product line
- Proven ability to set tactical and operational direction for the product line, including price setting, inventory forecasts, etc. This requires insight into the market, competition, and internal and environmental impactors
- Website development and management
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficient software skills across all standard programs; Salesforce.com experience
- Experience supporting surgeons in the operating suite
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direction
Managerial Experience
- 6 or more years of experience managing marketing personnel.
- Proven ability to manage, coach and mentor direct staff
- Ability to establish credibility with a broad range of associates inside and outside the company; including clinical investigators, product customers and PR firms.
Miscellaneous:
Ability to travel 40%
