Supply Chain Manager
Position Overview
We are an industry leader within the semiconductor market focusing on products for gas and fire safety monitoring. As we grow we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager
to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain activities. The role owns supply planning, procurement, supplier relationships, contract management, and inventory optimization while partnering with operations, finance and sales to ensure product availability, cost efficiency and on-time delivery. The successful candidate will drive process improvements, implement and maintain ERP-driven planning (NetSuite/SAP), and deliver reliable forecasting and inventory performance against KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supply chain strategy to support business goals, balancing service levels, cost and working capital.
- Manage procurement activities, negotiate and administer supplier contracts, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, capacity and continuity.
- Lead demand forecasting and supply planning processes, translating sales inputs into accurate material and production plans.
- Oversee inventory planning and replenishment policies to optimize stock levels, reduce obsolescence and improve turnover.
- Administer and optimize ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP or equivalent) for purchasing, planning, inventory and supplier management; drive system improvements and user adoption.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, finance and product teams to align forecasts, production schedules and inventory targets.
- Establish, monitor and report supply chain KPIs (OTD, forecast accuracy, inventory days, supplier performance) and recommend corrective actions.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives across procurement, planning and warehousing.
- Manage supply chain risk and contingency planning, including supplier diversification and mitigation strategies.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing supply chain team, including coaching on best practices and ERP utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5\+ years of progressive supply chain experience with demonstrated ownership of planning, procurement or supplier management; experience as a manager or team lead.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP or similar) and proven ability to configure/use ERP modules for purchasing, planning and inventory.
- Strong experience in supplier/contract management, procurement negotiations and vendor performance management.
- Proven skills in demand forecasting, inventory planning, MRP/DRP concepts and capacity planning.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions, reporting and KPI management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience implementing process improvements (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) and delivering measurable cost or service improvements.
- Relevant certifications (APICS/CPIM/CSCP, CPSM) and experience with sourcing global suppliers are a plus.
