Role Overview
Arclin is seeking a Vice President of IT, Digital \& AI to lead the next phase of enterprise technology transformation by integrating core IT capabilities with advanced digital and AI-driven innovation. This executive will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and new value creation across a global manufacturing environment.
The VP will partner closely with the CIO and executive leadership team to define and execute a business-aligned digital and AI strategy, ensuring that emerging technologies are deployed responsibly, securely, and at scale to drive competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise IT \& Digital Strategy
- Define and execute a unified IT, digital, and AI strategy aligned to Arclin’s business objectives and growth roadmap
- Identify high-value opportunities to leverage AI, analytics, and automation to improve operations, supply chain, R\&D and customer experience
- Partner with business leaders to embed digital capabilities into core processes and decision-making
AI Strategy, Development \& Deployment
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI initiatives, from use case identification through model development, deployment, and scaling
- Drive adoption of machine learning, advanced analytics, and generative AI to unlock efficiencies and enable new business capabilities
- Ensure AI initiatives are aligned with enterprise priorities and integrated into existing systems and workflows
Data, AI Governance \& Responsible AI
- Establish and enforce AI governance frameworks, ensuring ethical, secure, and compliant use of AI technologies
- Develop policies for responsible AI, bias mitigation, data privacy, and regulatory compliance
- Partner with Legal, Risk, and Security teams to address evolving regulatory requirements and enterprise risk
Digital Transformation \& Innovation
- Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, including automation, IoT, and advanced analytics
- Identify and scale innovative use cases that drive measurable business value (e.g., predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, quality optimization, Formulation)
- Foster a culture of continuous innovation and experimentation
Technology Delivery \& Architecture
- Deploy solutions in Azure, IoT, and operational technology (OT) environments
- Ensure scalable, secure, and resilient architectures that support both traditional AI workloads
- Drive integration of AI capabilities into enterprise systems and data ecosystems
Talent \& Organization Leadership
- Develop talent strategies to attract and retain critical digital and AI skillsets
- Establish partnerships with external vendors, technology providers, and innovation ecosystems
Executive \& Board Engagement
- Translate complex digital and AI concepts into clear, actionable business insights for executive leadership and the Board
- Act as an enterprise AI thought leader and evangelist, promoting adoption and alignment across business units
- Provide transparent reporting on ROI, adoption, risks, and strategic outcomes
Qualifications \& Experience
Required
- 12\+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with significant responsibility across digital transformation and data/AI initiatives
- Proven experience developing and executing enterprise AI and digital strategies aligned to business outcomes
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, data platforms, analytics, and enterprise IT architecture
- Experience leading cross-functional, large-scale transformation programs
- Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with C-suite and Board-level stakeholders
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology innovation to financial and operational performance
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments
- Experience with Azure cloud, IoT, and operational technology (OT) environments
- Experience in M\&A integrations, TSA exits, or enterprise carve-outs
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Business
- Relevant certifications in cloud, data, or AI
