Job Description
We have been retained by a leading global financial services organisation to help them hire for a
Senior Associate, Lateral Recruiter
to join its New York-based Talent Acquisition team.
This is a unique opportunity to recruit across both Corporate Functions and select front office business groups, offering broad exposure to the firm's business. The successful candidate will own a lateral hiring portfolio spanning corporate functions and client-facing teams, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while developing proactive hiring strategies and delivering exceptional talent into the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end lateral recruitment across corporate and business functions
- Partner with senior hiring managers to develop strategic hiring plans and advise on market trends
- Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies across multiple channels, including direct outreach, referrals, networking, and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Deliver a high-touch candidate experience from initial engagement through offer negotiation and onboarding
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders while managing multiple concurrent searches in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with a dedicated Recruiting Coordinator and broader Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless hiring process
Candidate Profile
- Must have 4–8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience gained within financial services or professional services
- Proven success managing multiple concurrent searches while partnering with senior stakeholders
- Strong sourcing and research capability, with experience identifying and engaging passive talent
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship management skills
- Familiarity with front office business groups—including Investment Banking Advisory, Wealth Management, or Private Client—is a significant advantage
- Combined agency and in-house recruiting experience is preferred; candidates with a financial services background and fluency across multiple business lines will be strongly considered
Compensation
Base salary:
USD 100,000 –140,000, depending on experience, plus bonus.
Location
New York \| Hybrid (4 days per week in the office)
