Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Network Engineer with deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks technologies to join our client's Professional Services team in Alpharetta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will bring expert-level hands-on experience across the Palo Alto hardware and software portfolio — including NGFW, Panorama, Prisma Access (SASE) as well as strong Cisco datacenter and fabric skills. This role is responsible for delivering advanced network and security solutions designed by our internal Architecture groups.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in determining level of effort for Services statements of work.
  • Design, deploy, and operate Palo Alto Networks security solutions including NGFW (PA-Series), Panorama, Prisma Access (SASE) as part of comprehensive enterprise and datacenter security architectures.
  • Plan and deliver advanced Network \& Security solutions, with a primary focus on Palo Alto and Cisco platforms.
  • Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation for all solutions.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training on completed Network \& Security solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of new network \& security services offerings.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Palo Alto Networks — Hardware \& Software Expertise:

  • NGFW (PA-Series: PA-400, PA-800, PA-3200, PA-5400, PA-7000) — design, deployment, and operations
  • Panorama — centralized policy management, device groups, template stacks, and log collectors
  • PAN-OS advanced features: Security Profiles (AV, WildFire, URL, DNS, Vulnerability), App-ID, User-ID, GlobalProtect VPN
  • Prisma Access (SASE) — remote user and branch security, cloud-delivered NGFW
  • Prisma Cloud — cloud security posture management (CSPM) and workload protection
  • SD-WAN — Palo Alto SD-WAN via PAN-OS or Prisma SD-WAN (formerly CloudGenix)
  • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA 2\.0) — architecture and implementation

Cisco — Expert-Level Knowledge \& Experience:

  • Fabric design and operations
  • Advanced troubleshooting
  • Comprehensive documentation

Datacenter Networking Fundamentals:

  • Switching and routing (Layer 2/3)
  • Fabric designs and topologies
  • Migrations and operations

Pay: Up to $175,000
