Senior Substation Engineer - $120,000 - $160,000
Remote
b19 Consulting is working with an established power delivery company to find a Senior Substation Engineer, who has a strong electrical utility background.
Ideal skillset of the senior substation engineer:
- 5\+ years utility substation design experience (15kV through to 500kV)
- Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong communication skills to co-ordinate with project engineers, designers and client representatives.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or an EIT with a view of obtaining
- Proficiency with MicroStation (V8 or newer).
- Detailed design of new substation layouts using electrical schematics, bill of materials and equipment specifications.
- Interpreting vendor information to provide design deliverables
- Ability to lead a large portion or the entirety of a substation design project.
