is partnering with an innovative aerospace and aviation manufacturer in

Guntersville, Alabama

to hire an

Electrical Engineer

with

1-3 years of experience

. This is an outstanding opportunity for an early-career engineer to work on cutting-edge aviation programs supporting the design, integration, testing, and validation of electrical systems for aircraft and aerospace applications.

You'll collaborate with experienced engineering professionals while gaining hands-on experience throughout the product development lifecycle in a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support electrical systems and components for aviation products.
  • Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable assemblies, and system documentation.
  • Support the integration, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of aircraft electrical systems.
  • Assist in developing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve electrical design and production issues.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to support new and existing programs.
  • Participate in prototype builds, design verification, and product qualification testing.
  • Ensure designs comply with customer requirements, FAA regulations, and applicable aerospace industry standards.
  • Support engineering change requests (ECRs), engineering change orders (ECOs), and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing during production and product launch activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, avionics, or aviation manufacturing.
  • Experience developing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, Altium Designer, or similar electrical design tools.
  • Understanding of analog and digital circuits, power distribution, and electrical control systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting aviation, aerospace, defense, or military programs.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations, AS9100, or aerospace quality standards.
  • Experience with aircraft wiring, avionics integration, or electrical harness design.
  • Familiarity with DO-160 environmental testing or MIL-STD specifications.
  • Experience with laboratory testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analyzers.
  • Internship or co-op experience in aerospace or aviation is a plus.
