About the Job
Reporting directly to the
Director of Warehouse Operations
, the Warehouse Manager role is a high‑visibility, high‑impact leadership role within the Warehouse Department at TFI USA.

Duties \& Responsibilities
- Directing all warehouse operations, including shipping, and receiving product during night shift
- Handling management-related duties such as recruiting, retaining, and ensuring the proper training of quality employees in a positive, professional manner for the staff and positions under their control
- Ensuring proper picking and loading operations are followed
- Ensuring proper safety and sanitation throughout the warehouse
- Planning work and setting goals for team members
- Maintaining a "hands-on" commitment to getting the job done
- Exhibits a “can-do” attitude
- Ensuring KPI’s are being developed, maintained, and achieved
- Developing positive rapport with staff, as well as maintaining strong working relationships
- Promoting team (TFI) spirit and working collaboratively to achieve team goals
- Establishing, maintaining, and enforcing operational procedures for the verification of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintaining the physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Coordinating activities of the warehouse with other divisions and departments to ensure availability of merchandise
- Communicating with customer service department regarding the coordination of orders
- Supervising and training staff in accordance with the organization's policies an applicable law, as well as keeping staff informed and trained on new systems and procedures
- Completing warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning staff to specific duties, picking, and packing customer orders for delivery, etc., and following up on work results
- Reviewing bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders to plan work activities
- Directing reclamation of damaged merchandise
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Requirements/Education/Experience/Skills
- 4 year Degree Preferred
- Ability to read and write English
- 3-5 years’ experience managing a food warehouse environment
- Strong computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office
- Be able to communicate clearly and concisely to team and across different departments of the business
- Current certifications for Forklift
- Forward thinking, Critical-thinker, Problem-solver
- Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measurements
- Possess excellent leadership skills
- Must be flexible to work all hours as needed to ensure the warehouse operations are running as expected
- Must be able to lift to a maximum of 60lbs
- Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug screenings
- Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedure set forth by Thomas Foods International, USA
Skills \& Knowledge
- Must have a high sense of urgency / bias for action
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills
- Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment
- Bi-linguage English/Spanish strongly preferred
