Research And Development Assistant

The R\&D Specialist supports product development, testing, and commercialization efforts. This role works closely with production and quality teams to ensure products meet standards for quality, safety, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test new product formulations
• Improve existing products for quality, cost, and efficiency
• Conduct plant trials, validations, and scale-up activities
• Support troubleshooting of production and quality issues
• Maintain product documentation including formulas and SOPs
• Conduct shelf-life studies and sensory evaluations
• Partner with procurement on ingredient sourcing
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related (preferred)
• 2–5 years of R\&D experience (food preferred, but flexible)
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards
• Experience with formulation and scale-up processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
