Senior Software Engineer, Retail DEX

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Retail DEX to join the team of a leader in the Finance \& Insurance space.

This role will focus on building and scaling backend systems that support digital asset trading and blockchain integration in a fast-moving consumer trading environment. You will help expand asset coverage, improve execution quality, and strengthen the data infrastructure behind high-volume onchain activity. The position also partners closely with product and engineering teams to enhance smart contract functionality and development workflows.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $191,100\+ annually

Responsibilities

• Integrate new blockchains and DEXs into the company's app to expand asset offerings
• Design first-party smart contracts for enhanced onchain trading execution
• Scale data pipelines for high-volume blockchain data processing
• Optimize the trading stack for swift execution and comprehensive asset coverage
• Advance agentic-first development methodologies to boost team productivity

Qualifications

• 5\+ years of backend software engineering experience, especially with data systems
• Hands-on experience with data infrastructure like Kafka and ClickHouse
• Proficiency in designing and integrating onchain smart contracts on EVM or Solana
• Ability to enhance agentic-first code repositories in live settings
• Experience utilizing generative AI for improving workflow
