The Role

The Wholesale \& Operations Manager serves as a central person across our wholesale, marketplace, and operational functions. This role oversees key business channels, including our sales team, retail partners, Amazon, Faire, and other third-party marketplaces, while also managing inventory planning, logistics, and fulfillment operations.

This position requires a unique blend of relationship management and operational expertise. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable supporting strategic sales growth, nurturing key accounts, and developing scalable processes that drive efficiency and support the company's continued expansion. This position could be a 30 hr work week.

Key Responsibilities

Wholesale Management

  • Work as the day-to-day liaison between our sales reps and Cabana Life
  • Work with our accounts to ensure a seamless experience and troubleshoot any issues
  • Process customer returns, exchanges, credits, and replacements in NetSuite
  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or issues to customers and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, returns, inventory adjustments, and customer interactions
  • Develop systems, processes, and reporting tools to support growth
  • Maintain and update our wholesale portal
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on sales trends, inventory performance, and market opportunities
  • Support trade shows, market appointments, and customer events

Marketplace \& E-Commerce Operations

  • Oversee and optimize marketplace channels including Amazon, Faire, and other third-party platforms
  • Manage product assortment, pricing strategies, promotional calendars, and inventory allocation across marketplace channels
  • Monitor sales performance, conversion metrics, customer feedback, and marketplace trends
  • Partner with marketing teams to improve product visibility and overall marketplace growth
  • Ensure consistent brand representation and customer experience across all channels
  • Evaluate and launch new marketplace opportunities that support company growth objectives

Operations \& Supply Chain Management

  • Manage relationships with 3PL, and inventory necessary to fulfill orders
  • Ensure compliance with retailer requirements, including EDI, routing guides, ASNs, chargeback prevention, and shipping standards.
  • Coordinate inventory planning and allocation across wholesale, marketplace, and direct-to-consumer channels.
  • Partner with production teams to align inventory availability with sales forecasts.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in wholesale sales, operations, account management, or business leadership
  • Excellent organizational, project management skills and detail-oriented nature
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably Netsuite) and marketplace platforms
  • Experience with retailer requirements, and wholesale fulfillment processes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
