Senior Project Manager

Reports to:

Director / Project Director/ Country Manager - Executive Director

Responsibilities:

• Produce and implement the Project Execution Plan and perform the role of the Senior Project Manager as defined in the Mirage Flow-Charts
• Provide a level of service that meets the expectations of Mirage and is regarded as being of a high standard within the project management profession
• Identify areas for improvement in project delivery and implement action plans accordingly
• Manage a project and drive the achievement of quality, programme and budget targets
• Inspires confidence and trust in interactions with Clients, Operators and Key Stakeholders
• Manage and motivate multi-disciplined teams and colleagues
• Administer the Construction Contracts
• Conduct regular progress updates in conjunction with the Planning Manager
• Assess and adjudicate Contractor Claims with the support of the Planning Manager
• Conduct meetings, produce minutes and drive outcomes
• Manage the Procurement process
• Manage Value Engineering workshops
• Manage Risk analysis workshops
• Manage the Commissioning and Close-Out of a project
• Compile monthly and other reports and make recommendations
• Anticipate problems before they arise and develop mitigation plans
• Other project management duties as assigned by the Director / Project Director

Qualifications and Experience

• Tertiary qualification (University Graduate) in either Project Management, Building Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture or similar plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in a project management role
• Proven experience in handling hotel projects until delivery phase
• Progressively increased responsibility over career duration
• Relevant projects of an appropriate scale
• UAE experience preferred
• Active membership of a relevant professional institution is an additional consideration
