Position Summary:
The Brand \& Content Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy, content initiatives, and customer communications across all channels.
This role serves as the primary owner of brand messaging, campaign development, content creation, and marketing performance measurement.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor—capable of building marketing plans, developing compelling content, leveraging AI and emerging technologies, analyzing performance data, and collaborating cross-functionally to support business growth.
This position works closely with the SVP Sales, SVP Product Development, Creative Director, Catalog Program Manager, and President to ensure marketing initiatives align with customer needs, product strategy, brand standards, and company objectives.
This role represents a significant step beyond traditional marketing coordination and requires an individual who can influence strategy, drive execution, and deliver measurable business results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy \& Campaign Development
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns supporting:
+ New product launches
+ Seasonal collections
+ Catalog releases
+ Market and showroom events
+ Customer acquisition and retention initiatives
+ Sales priorities and promotional programs
+ Outlet Store initiatives
- Build annual, seasonal, and monthly marketing plans aligned with company objectives.
- Translate business goals into actionable marketing initiatives.
Brand Messaging \& Content Development
- Own the company's brand voice and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
- Create compelling content including:
+ Email marketing campaigns
+ Product storytelling
+ Website and B2B platform content
+ Social media content
+ Sales communications and support materials
+ Customer-facing marketing initiatives
- Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels and customer interactions.
Social Media \& Digital Engagement
- Manage the company's social media strategy across:
- Develop content calendars and engagement plans.
- Increase customer engagement and brand visibility through strategic content creation.
- Support traffic generation and customer interaction across digital platforms.
Marketing Analytics \& Performance Measurement
- Own marketing performance reporting and analysis.
- Measure and optimize:
+ Email campaign performance
+ Social media engagement
+ Website and B2B engagement
+ Campaign effectiveness
+ Content performance
- Provide actionable recommendations based on customer and marketing data.
- Establish regular reporting dashboards and performance reviews.
AI \& Marketing Technology
- Leverage AI tools to improve:
+ Content creation
+ Campaign development
+ Image generation
+ Content optimization
+ Workflow efficiency
+ Marketing reporting and analytics
- Identify and implement emerging marketing technologies that improve productivity and effectiveness.
- Serve as an internal champion for responsible adoption of AI-enabled marketing solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with SVP Sales to align marketing initiatives with customer needs, selling priorities, and revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with the SVP Product Development to support new product introductions, seasonal collections, and innovation initiatives.
- Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure all content and campaigns align with brand standards, visual identity, and customer experience objectives.
- Coordinate with the Catalog Program Manager to align catalog timing, product focus, and campaign messaging.
- Collaborate with the President and leadership team on strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.
Project \& Calendar Management
- Own and maintain the company marketing calendar.
- Coordinate marketing activities across multiple departments and external partners.
- Ensure campaigns and initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with business priorities.
- Maintain clear visibility into project status, priorities, and results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or related field preferred.
- 5-8\+ years of progressive marketing, content, brand management, or related experience.
- Experience in wholesale, consumer products, retail, home décor, gift, lifestyle, or related industries preferred.
- 5\+ years demonstrating success developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
- Working knowledge of AI-powered content creation and marketing tools.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
