Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on Senior Financial Analyst (FP\&A) to support financial planning, business decision-making, and operational efficiency initiatives within a growing generic pharmaceutical company. This role combines traditional FP\&A responsibilities with automation initiatives, and commercial finance support.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a lean environment, partnering cross-functionally (Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, IT), and driving data-driven insights to improve profitability and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Lead and support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning
- Prepare monthly financial packages, variance analysis, and management reports
- Analyze revenue, gross margin, and cost drivers across product portfolios
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
- Sales and Inventory Reporting, Compliance and Auditing:
- Work closely with the corporate shared services team to ensure timely and accurate monthly sales reporting and maintain GTN models for accruals and actuals
- Support month-end inventory reconciliation and undertaken inventory movements in SAP in co-ordination with Supply Chain and shared service team.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Assist in the coordination of external audits, prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation for Sales, AR and GTN components.
- Commercial Finance \& Business Partnering:
- Partner with Commercial/Sales teams to maintain pricing lists, rebate schedules and support in GTN reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify trends, variances, and performance metrics. Monitor and report on sales performance vs targets
- Evaluate Customer profitability, tender/bid opportunities and support business cases for new product launches
- Translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Financial Systems and Process Improvement:
- Play a key role in the implementation of planning and budgeting tools and support finance system transformation projects
- Identify and implement automation opportunities (e.g., Power BI, Power Query, Excel VBA, Python) to streamline reporting, reduce manual processes and Improve data integrity.
- Develop dashboards and visualization tools for leadership
Education \& Credential
- sBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fiel
- dCPA (in progress)
Experienc
- e3-6 years of experience in FP\&A, commercial finance, or corporate financ
- eExperience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry preferre
- dExperience working in small to mid-sized organizations or entrepreneurial environment
