  • Provide on‑call and escalation support for critical production issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience designing and operating data platforms within Microsoft Azure Fabric.
  • Experience with Azure‑based SQL platforms (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, or SQL Server on Azure).
  • Current Microsoft Azure certification relevant to data or Fabric technologies.
  • Experience working in the financial services industry or other highly regulated environments.
  • Solid understanding of data security, compliance, and audit requirements (e.g., SOX, SOC, FINRA, or similar).
  • Strong SQL query optimization and performance tuning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting mission‑critical systems with high availability and low‑latency requirements.
  • Exposure to additional Azure data services (Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Power BI).
  • Experience with automation, scripting, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Proven history of driving platform improvements, modernization, or cost optimization initiatives.
