continues to grow both locally and across the globe are hiring a senior technical leader to shape its data platform capability.

This is a hands on leadership role at its core. You'll lead a team of senior engineers and architects, act as the trusted technical partner to enterprise clients modernising their data ecosystems, and help set the technical direction of the practice. Strategy, architecture, pre sales and people leadership all sit with you.

ou came up building. You started as a software or data engineer, moved through tech lead and architect, and you can still get into the detail and earn an engineer's respect. You've spent most of your career architecting and delivering cloud native data platforms at real enterprise scale. Somewhere along the way you also spent time inside a consulting firm, in an architecture or leadership role, so you know how to operate client side and move at their pace.

The engineering depth is non negotiable. This isn't a role for a consultant who ended up running data practices without ever building. If you can't credibly get into the technical detail, it isn't for you.

What you'll own

• Defining and evolving the data platform proposition and technical direction across the UK and Europe
• Acting as the senior technical partner to enterprise clients on architecture, real time and AI readiness
• Leading technical solution shaping, proposals and pre sales
• Hiring, leading and developing a team of senior data engineers and architects

What you'll bring

• 10\+ years across data engineering, data platforms, analytics engineering or data architecture in an enterprise environment
• A genuine hands on engineering and architecture background, not delivery oversight
• Time spent in a consulting firm, in an architecture or leadership capacity
• Deep experience with modern cloud native platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure) and the modern stack (Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, Spark, dbt, Airflow, Kubernetes)
• Strong executive communication and proven people leadership

High autonomy, real influence, reporting directly to the Group MD and CEO, in a senior, high calibre engineering and consulting environment.
