Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on construction sites
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit installation, and device mounting
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Conduct basic testing using tools like ohmmeters to ensure proper electrical connections and system integrity
• Support the setup of electrical panels, fixtures, and wiring in commercial or industrial environments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols and construction site regulations

Skills

• Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards
• Experience working on construction sites or in construction environments is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to electrical work and construction sites
• Basic frame carpentry skills are beneficial for supporting installation tasks
