SLP Inpatient Rehab

Duties

• Provide speech-language pathology services to adult and geriatric patients in an acute rehab unit.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatments for various patient diagnoses, including CVA, BI, head and neck cancer, and cervical fusions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in weekend coverage, working every Saturday with a schedule from Tuesday through Saturday.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience in speech-language pathology.
• Preferred experience with Trauma Level II facilities.
• Familiarity with Medicare A and B billing/documentation is preferred.
• Experience with adult rehabilitation facilities is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
