Job Description
Duties
- Provide speech-language pathology services to adult and geriatric patients in an acute rehab unit.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatments for various patient diagnoses, including CVA, BI, head and neck cancer, and cervical fusions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately using the Epic charting system.
- Participate in weekend coverage, working every Saturday with a schedule from Tuesday through Saturday.

- Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience in speech-language pathology.
- Preferred experience with Trauma Level II facilities.
- Familiarity with Medicare A and B billing/documentation is preferred.
- Experience with adult rehabilitation facilities is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
