**Job Summary**
This is a College of Graduate Nursing administration-level position within Western University of Health Sciences and is offered in conjunction with a faculty appointment. Together, the administrative role of Assistant Director of APRN Clinical Partnerships and the faculty appointment (PCN F03419) comprise a full-time position (1\.0 FTE / 5 days per week).
The salary range listed in this posting represents the total compensation for the combined administrative and faculty responsibilities. Please refer to the corresponding faculty posting for additional details.
The Assistant Director for Advanced Practice Clinical Partnerships is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) responsible for overseeing all APRN student Clinical Rotations within the college’s clinical partners. The Assistant Director will collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to actively develop, ensure quality and safety, and transition students to appropriate clinical rotations necessary to promote and enhance an optimal learning environment for students in the College of Graduate Nursing. This position will report to the Assistant Dean for APRN Programs.

- Effective interaction with administration, faculty, staff, students, and clinical partners and preceptors in a highly responsive and professional manner

- Ability to use a personal computer and to access information through the Internet and communicate via e-mail. Creates and formats documents in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of historic and current nursing education practices and standards.
- Knowledge and skill with the application of computer-based learning principles and practices.
- Demonstrate understanding and experience with institutional culture and priorities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism.
**Education:**
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Nursing
**Licensure:**
- Three years or more as a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in at least one APRN specialty track offered by CGN.
- Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in California.
**Experience:**
- Minimum qualifications for rank as an Assistant Professor.
**Experience:**
Preferred Qualifications
- At least two years of experience working at an organized health care system, demonstrating faculty practice, or academic health center, clinic, or appropriate practice setting in the last ten years.
