Role Overview
The Maintenance Tech I is responsible for repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment and systems.
They utilize hand/power tools, read blueprints, and follow technical manuals to ensure safe operation of machinery, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
The role involves performing safety checks, system inspections, and routine maintenance such as replacing filters, lubricating parts, and testing boiler and wastewater systems.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred technical training and at least 6 months of relevant work experience.
Skills required include knowledge of maintenance equipment, reading schematics, basic computer proficiency, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
