About the Role
The Physician Liaison plays a pivotal role in expanding CLS Health’s footprint by strengthening strategic relationships with referring providers and healthcare organizations across the Greater Houston region. This position is both relationship‑focused and revenue‑driven, leading initiatives that grow referral volume, and enhance CLS Health’s presence within the medical community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strong relationships with physicians, medical practices, and healthcare organizations to drive sustained referral growth within an assigned territory.
- Conduct 10\+ strategic field visits daily, promoting newly onboarded providers, new service lines, and key CLS Health initiatives.
- Represent CLS Health at health fairs, networking events, community programs, and professional conferences.
- Partner closely with physicians, leadership, and marketing to execute territory growth strategies and outreach campaigns.
- Develop creative partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that expand provider visibility and patient panel growth.
- Host educational meetings, lunch‑and‑learns, and onsite provider introductions with non‑affiliated clinics.
- Support provider onboarding and integration by coordinating logistics, introductions, materials, and field‑level communications.
- Plan and execute physician engagement events, including logistics, scheduling, catering, and communications.
- Prepare weekly activity reports detailing outreach volume, relationship progress, opportunities, and market insights.
- Travel regularly to clinic locations throughout Houston (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Perform additional duties as needed to support business development and physician relations initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in outside sales, field marketing, or provider relations.
Required Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and professionalism.
- Prior experience in healthcare, physician relations, business development, or outside sales strongly preferred.
- Self‑starter with a high degree of motivation and a proven track record of driving growth.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, navigate complex conversations, and influence decision‑makers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and CRM platforms.
- Willingness to travel across Houston on a daily basis.
