WordPress Developer for Minor Tweaks and Site SEO

Job Summary

We are only going to hire PST to avoid the time change issues that arise so please do not apply if in EST.

We are seeking a dynamic WordPress Developer to perform minor tweaks on our website including adding a page link on our footer, adding a new contact us form, new calendar and optimizing SEO via Yoast suggestions (slugs-adding internal links etc). Must have proven Wordpress experience and references. Include examples of any website you have worked on and references for at least one of those sites. Familiarity with HIPAA compliant websites.

Duties

• Implement minor updates and customizations to the WordPress platform, including plugin adjustments, theme modifications, and layout refinements using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SCSS.
• Conduct thorough site audits to identify SEO opportunities; optimize page speed, metadata, images, and content for improved search engine rankings.

Required Experience

• Proven experience working with WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin management.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices—keyword research, metadata optimization, schema markup—and tools for site analysis.
• Ability to perform minor site tweaks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality assurance through unit testing and debugging techniques.
