2\. About the Opportunity:
The Contract and Vendor Management Specialist (IT) is responsible for supporting the end-to-end processes of vendor-managed programs, including contract administration, execution, and reconciliation. This role contributes by ensuring accuracy in contract terms tracking, resolving payment inquiries, and facilitating smooth vendor interactions. It plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the organization''s vendor relationships.
3\. Responsibilities:
- Support processing, operations, and customer service of vendor-managed programs
- Administer, execute, and reconcile contracts and vendor management activities
- Track contract terms and address questions on payments and contract details
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to maintain effective communication
- Support the development of technology roadmaps by gathering requirements and coordinating IT teams
- Assist in dispute resolution and problem-solving related to vendor issues
- Help create and manage vendor performance measures and incentives
4\. Requirements:
- Foundational experience in IT contracts, vendor coordination, or customer account management
- Basic understanding of IT environments and technology systems
- Ability to learn complex business and technology topics
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an analytical or business-related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience or coursework in data analysis and interpreting datasets
- Exposure to data management concepts such as data quality and governance
- Basic knowledge of IT security principles and risk mitigation
- Familiarity with vendor services, market trends, and performance indicators
- Understanding of vendor management best practices and contract processes
- Awareness of organizational dynamics and stakeholder decision-making
- Foundational problem-solving and dispute-resolution skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with IT users and business leaders
- Awareness of pricing models, performance management, and IT service delivery innovations
5\. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The salary range for this role is $70,000\.00 to $106,000\.00 per year
- Compensation will meet or exceed minimum wage requirements based on geographic jurisdiction and exemption status
