Role Description
The
Private Markets Investment Analyst
role is designed as a high‑responsibility apprenticeship within the private markets team. The position provides exposure to the full investment lifecycle, including:
- Initial screening and pipeline management
- Diligence and underwriting
- Preparation of Investment Committee materials
- Portfolio monitoring and reporting
- Market research and thematic work
The role involves working closely with leadership in a lean, in-house investment management environment with exposure to all aspects of the investment process and emphasizes
analytical rigor, investment judgment development, and clear written communication.
This is a
full-time remote
role for an Investment Analyst.
Preference will be given, however, to applicants located in Nashville, TN. or Miami, FL.

Responsibilities
- Screen and evaluate new investment opportunities across buyout, growth equity, venture capital, private credit and real estate.
- Participate in meetings with investment managers, supporting diligence and opportunity evaluation.
- Prepare Investment Committee materials and support analyses.
- Monitor existing investments, capital call requirements, and review manager reporting.
- Conduct market research and track relevant industry and economic trends.
- Maintain internal models and investment-related software.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience (ex. investment banking, private equity, venture capital, institutional investing, consulting, accounting, transaction advisory, corporate development etc.).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in research and workflow efficiency.

While select individuals may grow into expanded responsibilities, the role is intentionally structured as a career‑accelerating training ground, with many alumni pursuing opportunities in private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or top MBA programs.
