Senior Business Unit Controller

Harmer Associates has partnered with a privately held transport company seeking to hire for position of Senior Business Unit Controller.

Lafayette, Louisiana (open to relocation)

This is a critical role for the organization responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the accounting and control functions and reporting operational results.

Seeking individual with strong initiative who can get up to speed quickly, take charge of responsibilities, provide motivational leadership to the team, and work autonomously.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
• CPA or CMA preferred
• 8\+ years of experience with minimum 2 years in management roles
• Deep knowledge of accounting and cost control principles including US GAAP
• Experience partnering with operations management at multiple levels.
• Experience in finance and accounting systems (e.g. Hyperion, OneStream, Workday)
• Strong analytical and organization skills
• Manufacturing or similar type industry experience
