Business Studies at IGCSE and A Level

Sociology at the Secondary level

Qualifications \& Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Economics, Sociology, or a closely related discipline
- Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Teaching License, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience
, including Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Business Studies
- Experience teaching Sociology at Secondary level
- Strong understanding of Cambridge curriculum standards and assessment requirements
- Proven track record of preparing students for external examinations
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver rigorous, engaging, and well-structured lessons in Business Studies (IGCSE \& A Level) and Sociology
- Prepare students effectively for Cambridge external examinations
- Develop and implement schemes of work aligned with Cambridge standards
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress with accuracy and timeliness
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
- Integrate technology meaningfully in line with the school’s Apple Distinguished School environment
- Uphold the school’s values and contribute positively to the wider school community
