Job Description
Logistic Optimization Specialist (Lean)
1\. Job Purpose
To optimize logistics processes by applying Lean principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
2\. Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimization (Lean Implementation)
Analyze current logistics processes and identify inefficiencies
- Implement Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) to improve operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Cost \& Efficiency Improvement
Reduce logistics costs (transportation, warehousing, handling)
- Improve productivity and resource utilization
- Warehouse \& Distribution Optimization
Optimize warehouse layout and material flow
- Improve inventory management and stock accuracy
- Enhance inbound and outbound processes
- Data Analysis \& Reporting
Monitor key logistics KPIs (lead time, cost, service level)
- Analyze data and provide actionable insights
- Prepare reports for management
- Cross-functional Coordination
Collaborate with production, procurement, and planning teams
- Ensure smooth material flow across departments
- Standardization \& SOP Development
Develop and implement standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with company standards
3\. Qualifications \& Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in logistics / supply chain / warehouse
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Lean Logistics
- Experience with Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma is a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
