Frontend Software Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer for a top healthcare technology client. This candidate will design and build modern, scalable web applications that directly impact patient experience and healthcare efficiency. The ideal engineer is passionate about front-end architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5–7 years of experience building front-end applications at scale - Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6\+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 - Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks (React preferred; Vue or Angular acceptable) - Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Zustand, MobX, or similar - Strong understanding of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals - Experience integrating with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs - Solid computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, performance) - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with SSR frameworks such as Next.js or Nuxt.js - Backend or full-stack exposure using Node.js and Express - Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure - Containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes - Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Sentry, New Relic, OpenTelemetry) - Automated testing experience (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, React Testing Library) - Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries
