The Opportunity

Our client is building an AI-enabled marketplace within a large, fragmented industry. Following strong customer adoption and rapid growth, the team is expanding its product organization

.They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape the platform’s future. You’ll work closely with the founders, product managers, and engineers to design intuitive web products and bring new concepts from early discovery through launch

.This is an opportunity to join a small, high-impact team where your design decisions will have an immediate influence on the product and its customers. You’ll help build a category-defining marketplace and create experiences that support people making important professional decisions

.What You’ll Do

  • Partner with product managers and engineers from discovery through launch to bring new concepts to life.
  • Own the design of intuitive, high-quality web experiences across the marketplace.
  • Build the company’s design system and component library from the groundup.
  • Work directly with the founders to ship quickly and iterate based on customer feedback.
  • Conduct user research and testing to understand customer needs and validate solutions.
  • Balance thoughtful product discovery with strong hands-on design execution.
  • Make high-impact design decisions within a small, highly leveraged team.
  • Help establish the product experience and design standards as the company scales.

What They’re Looking For

  • 5–8 years of product design experience, with a strong focus on web-based products.
  • A portfolio demonstrating excellent product thinking, interaction design, and visual craft.
  • Experience owning products or significant features from discovery through production.
  • Ability to translate complex workflows into clear, intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience creating or significantly contributing to design systems and component libraries.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma.
  • Comfort working closely with founders, product managers, and engineers.
  • Ability to move quickly, incorporate feedback, and iterate without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong customer orientation and enthusiasm for understanding real user problems.
  • Comfort operating with ownership and autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with marketplaces or AI-enabled products is helpful but not required.
