UNCOMN
is seeking a
Scrum Master (Functional Consultant 2-3)
to:
- Provide Servant Leadership while directing and supporting a broad range of technical efforts.
- Partner with Product Leadership and the team to define and deliver relevant metrics that are formulated and utilized for meeting project objectives.
- Maintain and manage the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
- Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items.
- Engage daily with the Technical Team and Stakeholders to organize, communicate status, and draw attention to identified risks that may affect matters of performance, schedule, and security.
- Remove roadblocks for all technical team members, while promoting and coaching the team on the Scrum process and best practices.
- Coordinate and facilitate Scrum meetings, such as Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Constantly exemplify and promote Agile values and principles while exhibiting outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.

Requirements
- Five (5) or more years of related experience in a professional environment.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government as needed, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.
- Experienced in Agile Methodologies, Scrum, and Lean principles experience in a professional environment.
- Experienced using JIRA, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and/or similar collaboration/scheduling tools.
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
- Support execution of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and milestone tracking.
- Prior experience with planning and problem-solving while supporting product management and delivery teams.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques.
- Must be comfortable working onsite full-time at Naval Station Norfolk or at a designated partner facility within the Norfolk, Hampton, or Virginia Beach area, pending final site establishment.
- Must be comfortable meeting DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF)/8140 requirements, obtaining professional certifications as required by the client/contract.
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university.
- Active DoD security clearance, granted by the US Government.
- Experience supporting DoD/DoN programs.
- Active Professional or Certified Scrum Master certification, SAFe, or equivalent.
