Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments
• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing advanced therapies such as biologic agents, corticosteroids, and disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs)
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Interpret diagnostic tests including medical imaging, laboratory results, and other relevant data to inform clinical decisions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Educate patients on disease management strategies, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and health coaching techniques

Experience

• Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology
• Proven experience in managing complex rheumatologic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, psoriatic arthritis, and vasculitis
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management
• Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to rheumatology including MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray interpretation
