Owning a portfolio of facilities and serving as a trusted advisor to leaders, while driving the day-to-day execution of Banyan’s people strategy on the ground.

HR Business Partner,
you’ll play a key role in supporting our workforce at scale—balancing hands-on HR execution with process improvement, standardization, and operational excellence.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong HR foundation who is ready to deepen their impact—comfortable operating in both structure and ambiguity, with experience in employee relations, compliance, and HR operations.

What You’ll Do
Employee Relations \& Workforce Support (People First)
- Serve as a trusted partner to leaders, employees, and HR team members
- Lead employee relations efforts including investigations, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Provide clear, practical guidance that balances employee experience, risk, and business needs
- Identify trends and proactively partner with leaders to improve engagement, retention, and team effectiveness
Onboarding, Experience \& “Banyan Way”
- Support and execute a consistent, high-quality onboarding experience across locations
- Reinforce and help build standardized HR practices that reflect the Banyan Way
- Partner on initiatives that enhance the employee lifecycle—from hire to development to retention
- Contribute to efforts to modernize, streamline, and elevate the employee experience
HR Operations \& Process Excellence
- Own and execute core HR processes including employee lifecycle changes, documentation, and HR ticketing support
- Ensure operational excellence through organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, standardization, and process redesign
- Thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and execution matters
Benefits, Leave Management \& Payroll Partnership
- Act as a resource for employees on benefits and eligibility, ensuring a strong foundational understanding
- Manage and support leave programs (FMLA, ADA, STD, LOA) with a focus on compliance and employee support
- Partner with Payroll with a strong understanding of payroll processes and downstream impacts
- Ensure employee changes are accurately reflected and aligned across systems
Systems \& Data
- Support and help optimize our transition and utilization of ADP (HRIS \& payroll system)
- Maintain accurate employee data and ensure integrity across HR systems
- Leverage reporting and data to support decision-making and operational insights
- Act as a resource for system-related questions and process improvements
Compliance
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states
- Maintain strong documentation and support audit readiness
- Prepare locations for audits and ensure consistent compliance practices
- Partner with HR leadership to continuously strengthen compliance while maintaining a people-first approach
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong background in employee relations, leave management, benefits, and HR operations
- Working knowledge of payroll processes and how HR actions impact pay
- Experience with ADP is strongly preferred
- Experience in healthcare or another highly regulated environment is preferred, not required
- Solid understanding of multi-state HR compliance
- Ability to balance execution and improvement—you can do the work and make it better
- Highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented
- Strong communicator with the ability to build trust and influence leaders
- A team-first, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset with a bias for action
