About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Procurement Assistant Manager (m/w/d) to support and develop procurement operations for our Germany subsidiary. This role will focus on executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in engineering or industrial procurement, including contract negotiation, change order management, and import/export operations. Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage procurement activities for the Germany branch, ensuring efficient and compliant purchasing processes
• Conduct supplier sourcing, evaluation, and qualification, including occasional business travel
• Negotiate commercial terms, including service/labor contracts, pricing, and change orders
• Assist in contract management and administration to ensure alignment with project and company requirements
• Coordinate import and export processes in compliance with EU regulations and customs requirements
• Support warehouse and inventory management to ensure smooth project execution
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams
• Optimize procurement workflows and streamline procurement processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including CBAM where relevant
• Utilize ERP systems (SAP preferred) for procurement operations and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or any related field
• 5\+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in engineering, construction, or semiconductor industries
• Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects

Proven experience in:

• Service/labor contract negotiation
• Change order negotiation
• Contract management
• Import/export operations and compliance
• Warehouse and inventory management

Skills and Attributes

• Strong negotiation and commercial awareness
• Good understanding of EU procurement practices and regulations
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Familiarity with CBAM and international trade compliance is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese; German (intermediate level preferred)
• Ability to work in a dynamic, project-driven environment

• Willingness to travel for supplier audits and project needs
• Experience in vendor development and performance monitoring is an advantage
