Product \& Applications Engineer

to support the development of our products, manage key suppliers, and demonstrate our technology to customers.

Role

As a

Product \& Applications Engineer

, you will work at the intersection of product development, supplier coordination, and customer-facing applications. You will contribute to the development of consumables and hardware, support testing and validation activities, and represent the company during customer demonstrations and field applications.

This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working independently, and interacting directly with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of consumables and hardware products.
  • Support product testing, validation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure quality, timelines, and technical alignment.
  • Prepare and perform customer demonstrations, product presentations, and field application activities.
  • Gather customer feedback and translate it into product improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support product launch, technical documentation, and operational readiness.
  • Participate in hands-on prototyping, assembly, testing, and problem-solving activities.

Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering background in life sciences, bioengineering, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum

2 years of professional experience

in a relevant technical role.

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • biopharma production,
  • field application,
  • product development,
  • technical customer support,
  • supplier or manufacturing coordination.
  • Experience with supplier management or external technical partners.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in cell culture.
  • Previous experience as a Biopharma Production Specialist, Field Application Specialist, Field Engineer, Product Engineer, or similar role.
  • French and/or German language skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driving licence.
  • Access to a car, as customer visits and field activities may be required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for customer visits and demos, supplier meetings and industry events.
