Audiovisual Engineer

NFCF Solutions is seeking an experienced

Lead AV Engineer

to support Audio/Visual Modernization Project at Mountain, Idaho. The selected candidate will serve as the technical lead responsible for system integration, programming, configuration, testing, and technical support throughout project execution.

The project involves upgrading and integrating:

• Commercial laser projection systems
• Motorized projection screens
• AV-over-IP video distribution
• Digital signal processing (DSP)
• Wireless microphone systems
• Audio amplification and speaker systems
• Touch-panel room control systems
• Network-connected AV infrastructure

Primary ResponsibilitiesEngineering \& System Design

• Review project specifications and drawings
• Verify compatibility of proposed AV solutions
• Assist with equipment selection and substitutions
• Coordinate technical requirements with manufacturers

Programming \& Configuration

• DSP programming and tuning
• AV-over-IP configuration
• Wireless microphone configuration
• Touch-panel programming
• Room combining/dividing programming
• Audio routing and control configuration

Installation Support

• Provide technical direction to field technicians
• Troubleshoot installation issues
• Verify proper equipment installation
• Coordinate configuration and startup activities

Testing \& Acceptance

• Conduct system testing and validation
• Verify audio and video performance
• Verify control system functionality
• Support Government acceptance testing
• Resolve punch-list items

Documentation \& Training

• Create as-built technical documentation
• Develop quick-start user guides
• Support customer training sessions
• Deliver final technical turnover package

Preferred QualificationsRequired

• 5\+ years of commercial or government AV integration experience
• Experience with DSP programming
• Experience with network-based AV systems
• Experience configuring wireless microphone systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Strong troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on ladders and lifts
• Ability to work in mechanical and equipment rooms
• Ability to stand for extended periods during installation activities
